Furthermore, she has staff memberships at several local hospitals, including Kaiser Permanente, Harbor – UCLA Medical Center, and City of Hope National Medical Center. Anne Marie Knudsen, RN, CWON, MN, CNS, CFCN, attended Odense Nursing School in Denmark, and received her nursing diploma in 1976. Her credentials include her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing received at California State University, Long Beach (1990). She also holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing earned at California State University, Los Angeles (1993). She is a Certified Ostomy Nurse and Certified Foot Care Nurse. Anne Marie remains at the forefront of her challenging field via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. Hence, she is a member of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society, the United Ostomy Associations of America, and the American Nurses Association. Moreover, Anne attained induction into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and received a Daisy Award while at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Ambulatory Care. She feels that her success is attributable primarily to her parents’ support and the work ethic her parents instilled in her. Anne Marie grew up in Denmark where she learned at a young age to care for others. Outside work, she dedicates to music, reading, traveling, and her two golden retrievers.  Anne Marie is a retired ballerina.
